Multiconsult Polska will be overseeing planned drilling operations in Szczecin Poland, where geothermal resources of up to 75 °C are expected.

Warsaw-based  Multiconsult Polska Sp. z o.o. has been selected to provide oversight and supervision for a geothermal drilling project planned on Dabska Street in Szczecin, Poland. The project supervision agency will now take the lead in defining the requirements for the contractor for the drilling for the corresponding tender.

Szczecin was one of the territories that were selected to receive funding by Poland’s Ministry of Climate and Environment thru the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOSiGW) for geothermal heating projects, as announced back in 2023.

The planned geothermal well is expected to reach a depth of 2000 meters, where waters at 70-75 °C supporting flowrates of up to 200 m3 per hour are anticipated based on preliminary studies.

Multiconsult Polska is also involved in a few other geothermal projects elsewhere in Poland, specifically in Serock and Gluszyca.
