Registration is ongoing for a free workshop on geothermal modeling and simulation by Seequent, taking place on 25 February 2026 in Offenburg, Germany.

Registration is currently open for an upcoming in-person workshop by Seequent on ge0logical modeling and reservoir simulation using products across Seequent’s portfolio. The workshop will be held a day before the GeoTHERM 2026 Expo & Congress in Offenburg, Germany.

More details on the workshop are as follows:

Title: From Concept to Production: A Practical Integrated Geothermal Workflow from Geological Modeling to Reservoir Simulation

Date: 25 February 2026

Time: 9 AM – 5 PM

Location: Messe Offenburg-Ortenau GmbH, Schutterwälder Str. 3, Offenburg 77656, Germany

Speakers: Oliver Ward (Senior Solutions Engineer, Geophysics & Geomodelling) and Dr. Esteban Gómez-Díaz (Customer Solutions Specialist, Geothermal Specialist)

Registration: Click here to register

Registration is FREE, but the number of attendees is capped to ensure a quality training experience for all participants. Once the registration limit is reached, additional registrants will be added to a waitlist and notified if a spot becomes available.

The full-day, hands-on workshop will talk participants through end-to-end geothermal workflow, demonstrating how they can move from early exploration inputs to an evidence-based view of what a geothermal system may produce. The session combines practical exercises with focused theory to explain why each step matters, from geological understanding through to early-stage production forecasting.

Short case studies will be shared throughout the workshop to illustrate how teams apply these integrated workflows in practice, and the value gained by linking exploration, geological modelling, and reservoir simulation within a single, consistent framework.

Participants will gain practical experience with industry-leading software and leave with a clear understanding of how an integrated concept-to-production geothermal workflow fits together across disciplines and tools.

This workshop is proudly supported by the International Geothermal Association (IGA), in partnership with Seequent to advance geothermal knowledge and collaboration.
