Industry representatives meet at Seequent’s Geothermal Day in Ankara, Türkiye
The 'Geothermal Day' event, organized by Seequent and the New Zealand Consulate in Ankara, brought together leading representatives of the geothermal sector.
Leading representatives of the geothermal sector gathered at the “Geothermal Day” event, organized by Seequent in collaboration with the New Zealand Consulate in Ankara, Türkiye. The event hosted 25 high-level industry professionals.
His Excellency Greg Lewis, Consul General of New Zealand, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the shared history and cultural ties between the two countries. Following this, Colin Hay, Seequent’s EMEA Regional Manager, shared the benefits of data integration in the project lifecycle. Hayet Bonifay, Seequent’s EMEA Energy Sector Manager, highlighted Türkiye’s geothermal potential and highlighted the importance of addressing underground uncertainties in optimizing projects.

Industry representatives shared their experiences in presentations where Flux Energy Solutions Managing Partner Ali Baser explained the role of reservoir simulations in production and injection performance. Zorlu Energy Geochemistry Department Manager Raziye Sengün Çetin shared the operational benefits of data management and 3D modeling.
The event, which attracted great attention, created an important platform for the exchange of information on Türkiye’s geothermal industry.
