An opportunity for free registration for WGC 2026 is offered for those who will submit an abstract to the 2026 European Geothermal PhD Days by 10 December 2025.
Missed the abstract deadline for the 2026 World Geothermal Congress? Here is another chance to participate in the event, and win a free registration.
Submit your abstract to the European Geothermal PhD Days 2026 (EGPD 2026) before 10 December 2025 and get the chance to be considered for a poster presentation at WGC, and be a Student Volunteer with free full-event registration included! The EGPD 2026 will be held at the Montanuniversität Leoben in Leoben, Austria on 7-10 April 2026.

WGC 2026 Student Volunteers receive the following:
- Complimentary registration to the full event
- Complimentary t-shirt
- Opportunity to get involved/attend the Youth Forum
- Attendance at the volunteer’s appreciation event
In exchange, volunteers are committed to 2-3 hours of volunteering per day. Those presenting posters must also be physically present at their poster at the allotted time slot.
WGC 2026, the most important event of the global geothermal industry will be held on 8-11 June 2026 in Calgary, Canada. Registration for the event is now open.
