CHARGE Europe 2025 in ?stanbul will spotlight energy branding, trust, and communication, key themes for Türkiye’s fast-evolving energy sector and beyond.

The energy sector’s leading branding event, CHARGE Europe 2025, will take place in ?stanbul this October, bringing communication and reputation strategy to the forefront of the energy transition conversation.

Set for 13-14 October 2025, CHARGE Europe will gather senior executives, policymakers, communicators, and innovators under the theme “Staying Consistent in Uncertain Times.” The agenda will tackle challenges ranging from geopolitical tension and digital disruption to stakeholder trust and decarbonisation pressures.

CHARGE is not simply about marketing. It’s about how energy companies build and sustain trust, adapt to uncertainty, and lead transformation,” said Dr. Fridrik Larsen, Founder of CHARGE.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Elchin Ibadov, CEO, SOCAR Türkiye
  • Elisabeth Gathe, Global Brand Lead, Statkraft
  • Catarina Barradas, Head of Global Brand, EDP
  • Monica Holmvik Persdotter, VP Brand, Vattenfall
  • Andrew Welch, Executive Director, Landor

The event will also feature the CHARGE Energy Branding Awards, recognising excellence in communication, stakeholder engagement, and brand strategy across the energy sector.

Why this matters for Türkiye

As one of Europe’s most dynamic energy markets, Türkiye is undergoing a major transformation across electricity, heating, and renewables. For energy developers, utilities, and public institutions, communicating that change clearly and credibly is becoming just as important as the technologies themselves.

While the CHARGE event covers the full energy spectrum, its relevance extends to Türkiye’s strong geothermal sector as well. In a market where social acceptance, policy alignment, and public trust are increasingly crucial, branding and communication strategies are essential tools for geothermal companies aiming to differentiate themselves and foster long-term stakeholder confidence.

By hosting CHARGE in Istanbul, Türkiye positions itself not just as an energy hub, but as a leader in shaping how the sector communicates during a time of change.
