Call for challenges – IADC Geothermal Drilling Conference, 17-18 November 2026
The geothermal drilling community is invited to submit their toughest, unresolved drilling challenges to the upcoming IADC Geothermal Drilling Conference.
The upcoming IADC Geothermal Drilling Conference is calling on the geothermal drilling community to submit its most critical unresolved challenges. These inputs will shape the 2026 conference agenda, with expert speakers to present practical insights, case studies, and potential solutions.
The deadline for submissions is on 13 April 2026. For those who wish to submit their challenges, please visit this page for the guidelines and submission instructions.
Members of the conference program committee will then identify issues that will be vetted during the two-day conference, providing maximum take-home value for attendees. Once the problems/challenges have been collected, the committee members will meet to select the problems that will be put forward for the conference agenda.
The Program Committee for the IADC Geothermal Drilling 2026 Conference & Exhibition hereby requests all colleagues to identify the toughest challenge currently faced by the drilling industry in the geothermal drilling realm.
The IADC Geothermal Drilling Conference will be taking place on 17-18 November 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark. This will be the second edition of the event, following last year’s highly successful inaugural conference. Registration for the event is open and sponsorship opportunities are available.
