The Mexican Geothermal Association (AGM) announces the XXXII Annual Geothermal Congress, to be held on 23 -25 April 2026 in Puebla, Mexico.

The Mexican Geothermal Association (AGM) announces the XXXII Annual Geothermal Congress 2026, which will be held on 23 -25 April 2026 in Puebla, Mexico. The event has now officially opened registration and the call for abstracts, as well as opportunities for sponsorships. 

This meeting will bring together specialists, academics, companies and decision-makers from the geothermal sector, and will include a specialized technical program, the presentation of the Pathé Award 2026 , the 32nd Annual General Meeting of the AGM and a post-congress field trip to the Los Humeros geothermal plant .

Program:

Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24, will feature a technical program of presentations covering topics such as geosciences and exploration, direct uses of geothermal heat, drilling technologies, unconventional geothermal systems, well conversion, environmental and social aspects, legislation, financing, and education.
On Saturday, April 25, a post-congress trip will take place to the Los Humeros geothermal plant in Puebla.
